I read this and had to read it again. Talk about a shake your head inducing commentary from what has to be the most tone deaf, “we never cared about the truth in the first place”, administration in the history of America. Barack Obama actually believe his presidency has been marked by AUSTERITY?????

Before I get to the Washington Post austerity quote, I would remind readers that this administration has overseen a DOUBLING of our national debt. It spent a TRILLION dollars on a failed stimulus bill, hundreds of billions on failed green energy pay to play schemes, hundreds of billions on a massive expansion of the welfare state, another TRILLION on the failed Obamacare boondoggle, and on and on and on.
Oh – and don’t forget this is President Jet Setter, who has spent tens of millions more on HIMSELF (with a big assist from the First Lady who takes her own vacations as well) flying across the globe for “downtime” at high class resorts, vacation mansions, etc.
Ok, with that said, here is the actual quote from the Washington Post:
“With the 2015 budget request, Obama will call for an end to the era of austerity that has dogged much of his presidency and to his efforts to find common ground with Republicans. Instead, the president will focus on pumping new cash into job training, early-childhood education and other programs aimed at bolstering the middle class, providing Democrats with a policy blueprint heading into the midterm elections.” LINK
OH. MY. GOD.
Barack Obama is declaring an “end to the era of austerity”.
Alrighty then…
