Mark Karpelès, chief executive officer of Mt. Gox, resigned on Sunday from the board of the Bitcoin Foundation, according to a person familiar with the situation,
reports WSJ.
The move comes after Mt Gox froze accounts at its bitcoin exchange, prompting some protesters to camp out in front of the Japanese-world headquarters of Mt Gox.
