Some UK ISIS Militants Got Nicknamed ‘The Beatles,’ and Ringo Is Pissed | Mediaite
A number of ISIS militants have reportedly come from England, and several individuals who were held by the terrorist group provided some insight into their time in captivity. But one aspect that really sticks out is three British ISIS members in particular identified by a number of escaped and freed hostages. And what nickname have these former ISIS hostages given to these three men? The Beatles.
That’s right, the Beatles. One person involved with hostage negotiations explained, “They were really rough with them. Whenever the Beatles showed up, there was some kind of physical beating or torture.” From “the Beatles.”
And Ringo Starr is pissed.
When asked about the nickname, this is what the Beatle had to say:
“It’s bullshit. What they are doing out there is against everything The Beatles stood for… If we stood for anything we never stood for that. The four of us absolutely stood for peace and love. But we are not in control.”
Yeah, besides, “All You Need Is Hate” doesn’t sound as fun.
