Gary Miliefsky, CEO

Gary is the Founder of SnoopWall and the sole inventor of the company’s new technology.  He has been extremely active in the INFOSEC arena, most recently as the Editor of Cyber Defense Magazine and the cover story author and regular contributor to Hakin9 Magazine.  He also founded NetClarity, Inc., an internal intrusion defense company, based on a patented technology he invented.  He is a member of ISC2.org, CISSP® and Advisory Board of the Center for the Study of Counter-Terrorism and Cyber Crime at Norwich University.He also advised the National Infrastructure Advisory Council (NIAC) which operates within the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, in their development of The National Strategy to Secure Cyberspace.Miliefsky is a Founding Member of the US Department of Homeland Security (http://www.DHS.gov), serves on the advisory board of MITRE on the CVE Program (http://CVE.mitre.org) and is a founding Board member of the National Information Security Group (http://www.NAISG.org).  Email him at: [email protected]

 

 

Mark Laich, Vice President of Sales

Mark joins Snoopwall with a 29 year track record of successful sales in the high-tech industry, generating over a half of billion dollars in revenues. His expertise includes successful customer and market development in the mobile, CE, and telecommunications market sectors. He has a long track record of leading successful sales campaigns and developing business at major accounts like Samsung, Microsoft, Philips, Canon, Nikon, Thomson, Cisco, Alcatel, Siemens, and Compaq.

He most recently served as VP of Sales and Business Development at Qualtre, a developer of next-generation sensor technology for the mobile/consumer, automotive and industrial markets. Under his leadership, the company developed strategic partnerships to bring the technology to the automotive and industrial markets. He also kept the company on the course of developing a differentiated sensor to meet the needs of emerging mobile applications.

Prior to Qualtre, he served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing at MEMSIC, a leading provider of sensors for the mobile/consumer, automotive and industrial markets. Under his leadership, MEMSIC became one of the fastest growing semiconductor companies from 2009-2011. He drove this sales growth by penetrating top tier mobile handset customers like Samsung Mobile.

 

Scott Toothaker, CFO

Scott is a Certified Public Accountant with rich experience including working in both private industry and public accounting.  Scott received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy and a Masters degree in Taxation from Bentley College and has an MBA with a concentration in Finance from the University of Maine. Scott is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Maine and New Hampshire Society’s of Certified Public Accountants.

Scott is the outside Corporate Counsel for SnoopWall.  He grew up in Clifton Park, New York, a small town just south of Saratoga Springs, New York. He earned a B.A. from Amherst College in Amherst, MA in 1982, and a J.D. from DePaul University College of Law in Chicago, IL in 1985. Scott has been practicing law in Nashua, NH since 1985.  He spent the first 9 years of his career at Sullivan & Gregg, P.A., and left to open his own firm in 1994. He married Sheelu, who is the residential director at Nashua Children’s Home. Scott has a daughter Jane, who will be a senior at Mt. Holyoke College, a son Calvin who will be a sophomore at the Berklee College of Music, and his youngest daughter Mia.  Scott served by appointment of the New Hampshire Supreme Court on the New Hampshire Board of Bar Examiners from 1991-2001, writing and grading the bar exam. He was appointed by the New Hampshire Supreme Court to serve as a member of the New Hampshire Judicial Branch Dispute Resolution Committee in 2007. He is also currently the clerk for the Alternative Dispute Resolution section of the New Hampshire Bar Association.  He is a member of the board of directors of the New England chapter of the Association for Conflict Resolution (“NEACR”), and served as President of that chapter in 2007-08.

 

Aliki Collins, Ph.D., Outside Patent Counsel

Dr. Aliki K. Collins is the Principal of AKC Patents.  Dr. Collins has expertise in intellectual property law, magnetic materials and devices, optical materials and devices, semiconductors, ceramic materials, chemical vapor deposition process and equipment, rapid solidification of metals, business quantitative methods, statistical process improvement methods and radiation oncology physics. She has extensive experience in patent prosecution, new product development, team leadership, project and program management and teaching. She has worked at ipCapitalGroup, AlliedSignal, Morton International, MIT, Harvard Medical School, Harvard Business School, and Fish & Richardson where she held positions as Director, Sr. Scientist, Principal Scientist, Instructor, and Technology Specialist. At AlliedSignal she developed and commercialized new amorphous magnetic alloys and devices.  For the past nine years, after having passed the patent bar, Dr. Collins has been practicing patent law and Intellectual Property Portfolio development at Fish&Richardson (a national IP Law firm), ipCapitalGroup (an international IP consulting start-up company) and at AKC Patents. She has successfully prosecuted a large number of patents in the materials, electrical, mechanical, medical, financial, software, business methods and computer arts.  Dr. Collins holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from MIT and a M.S. in Physics (Diplom Physiker) from the Technical University of Berlin, Germany. She is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). She has published several scientific papers, coedited a book and authored several theses. She is an inventor and holds two issued and several pending patents. She is fluent in German and Greek.

Frank is the Chairman of Curriculum Associates, a member of the Angel Breakfast Club, Walnut Ventures and Northeast Angels. He was most recently President of Curriculum Associates for a period of over 30 years, leading the company to consistent growth as one of the leading suppliers of educational materials to schools throughout America. He was the President of BOSE Corporation from 1969-76 leading it into the market leader position for acoustic products and ongoing growth. Frank is an active investor, advisor, director and supporter of numerous early stage companies ranging from SnoopWall to Roam Data, Vigix, NetClarity and many more. David Steadman, Director, Angelbreakfastclub.com Lead

David has been the President of Atlantic Management Associates Inc., a management services firm, since September 1988. Mr. Steadman is an Engineer with considerable experience as Chief Executive Officer and as a Director of Public and Private companies. From July 1990 to March 1994, Mr. Steadman served as Chief Executive Officer and President of Integra, a Hotel and Restaurant Company and from 1987 to July 1990 as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of GCA Corporation, a manufacturer of automated semiconductor capital equipment. From 1980 to 1987 and also from 1975 to 1978, Mr. Steadman was Vice President of Raytheon Company, a defense electronics manufacturer, and served in various management positions, as President of its venture capital division. Mr. Steadman served as a Director of Kurzweil Applied Intelligence Inc. since 1995. Mr. Steadman is a Visiting Lecturer in Business Administration at the Darden School of the University of Virginia.

    

Allan Cowen, Channel Strategy Advisor

Allan is an INFOSEC distribution expert with over 25 years of experience developing and putting into practice unique sales and marketing strategies to help take new product introductions to successful mainstream market acceptance. He frequently speaks at various conferences and events to drive Channel and End-User technology innovation awareness.  Allan helped NetScreen make their early entry into the Canadian market, growing their in country sales prior to their acquisition by Juniper Networks (NASDAQ: JNPR). He also helped RSA, now a division of EMC (NASDAQ: EMC), with their SecurID “Authenticator” introductions and continues to be a leading Canadian partner serving some of the largest Banks and Enterprises. He is the founder and Managing  Director of Solantus, Inc., a non-traditional distributor headquartered in Canada but offering product  distribution services throughout North America and International markets. Rick Catino, Business Advisor

Rick is the  founder and managing partner of Clear Point Partners, LLC, a Supply Chain and Procurement Consulting company since 2004.  Previously, Rick served as the Senior Director of Procurement for Hewlett Packard managing a large and geographically dispersed organization of Supply Chain professionals.  In a consulting role, Rick has worked with several Fortune 100 companies in the pharmaceutical, manufacturing, medical products, information technology, petrochemical and apparel sectors.  Rick also is a director of ExpressPoint Technologies Corporation.  Rick brings to the Board broad business skills and experience, executive leadership expertise, organizational and operational management skills, merger and acquisition experience, and knowledge of complex global business matters.
