General Honoré Nabéré Traoré is one of the two Burkinabésoldiers that claimed to be the head of state since the resignation of Blaise Compaoré in the aftermath of the 2014 Burkinabé uprising.[1] Traoré has stated that a new election will take place in 60-90 days.[2]

Traoré had previously served as Compaoré's aide de camp.[3]
