“We appreciate Oman for its full convergence with the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Navy,” he said in a meeting with an Omani delegation in Tehran headed by Commandant of Omani National Defense College (NDC) Salim bin Musallam Qatan.
Iranian Navy is in northern Indian Ocean and the Gulf of Aden to battle terrorists and this is a continuous and sustainable presence, he said, adding Omani Navy has well cooperated with Iran for the important mission and providing security in high seas.
Salim bin Musallam Qatan is in Iran at top of a military delegation. He would meet with Iranian armed forces commanders to discuss training and defense and strategic development.
