America's foremost expert on usability and design of ballots and voting systems, Dana is leading user experience research for tools for immigration and visa applications.

Kathy brings a strong background in health data analytics and product management. An early member of Google's health team and a health data analyst at IBM, Kathy is now a member of the digital service team improving Veterans' access to healthcare.

After working with Northrop Grumman Mission Systems, Mike became known as the automated testing evangelist during his time at Google. He is now driving development best practices at 18F.

Ellen was the third engineer hired at Amazon, where she led engineering for the distribution centers and other large software projects. She is now the Engineering Director for the Digital Service at the VA.

Alan co-founded the Weather Underground — one of the country's foremost weather sites, later acquired by The Weather Channel. He brings his expertise in weather and consumer product development to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration as a Presidential Innovation Fellow.

Jesse TaggertLead UX Designer, 18F

Building on an extensive career in user experience and interaction design with organizations such as Pivotal Labs, the U.S. Navy and the Smithsonian, Jesse now leads research and design at 18F to discover new ways to help the public access federal records.

With a background in product design, Ryan comes to government from Microsoft, Ginger.io, and Salesforce.com. A key member of the Healthcare.gov rescue team and a former Presidential Innovation Fellow, he now serves as the Deputy U.S. CTO working to tackle government-wide issues facing digital service teams.

A system engineer, product manager, and former investor, Mina was a key player in the effort to fix Healthcare.gov, and joins the government to tackle data usability challenges in healthcare. Mina has led projects at Optum, General Catalyst Partners, and Deka R&D corp.
