Alexis Tsipras went before the European Parliament today and asked for a 3rd loan package from the same folks who strapped the crippling debt to the backs of the people of Greece in the first place. In exchange for this money which will be used to pay more debt to the banksters of Europe, he promised to heap still more brutal austerity on the people that just stood with him and shouted “No More” in one clear, collective voice.
“Let me assure the house that, quite apart from the crisis, we will continue with our reform undertakings,” Tsipras said. SMH.com
Yes, he wants to borrow more from the privately owned central banks of Europe and promises to force more austerity on the people in order to do it.
“Those include tax and pension reforms, details of which will be presented Thursday at the latest.” AP
The whole time he is claiming the “NO” vote gives him a mandate from the people to say “YES” to more austerity.
Anymore questions about Tsipras? No? That’s what I thought.
