Anatomy of a Media Hoax? #IStandWithAhmed - Mike Cernovich Presents Danger & Play

As someone who has been lied about in Newsweek, Real Clear Politics, and even MSNBC, I look behind the story for the real story. If you believe the headlines, a bunch of racists in Irving, Texas arrested Ahmed Mohamed. Why? Because they are racist. What really happened?

How to Understand the News:Ask, “What does the media establishment want be true?”

In every story there’s a narrative, which some call “analysis.” For example I was recently in Budapest, Hungary to report on the “refugee crisis.” According to the media, women and children were fleeing war-torn Syria.

In reality, over 70% of the “refugees” from Syria are able-bodied men. (Budapest, Hungary refugee photo album.) Now maybe Western countries should welcome young men with free housing and welfare. That’s a fair debate to have. You can make valid arguments for either position.

Yet we cannot have that debate, as the media obscures the facts to push a narrative. Some very important people want to change the demographic make-up of Europe and the U.S.

We are thus told that women and children are seeking refuge in Western countries, when the truth is that most “refugees” are men in the prime years of their lives.

What does the media want to be true of #IStandWithAhmed?

“Red necks in Texas arrested a Muslim boy for bringing in a clock, because racism” is the story everyone is looking for. All facts must be massaged to fit the narrative.

For example, Ahmed did indeed bring in a clock to school. (Note: Ahmed did not build a clock.)

This was the clock Ahmed brought into school.

Perhaps we can still criticize the school officials for calling the police. Yet shouldn’t the media give us all of the facts?

Ahmed first showed the “clock” to a male teacher. This teacher told him not to show it to anyone else.

Ahmed then showed the clock to a female teacher, who freaked out and called the police. (Does this mean women should not be allowed to teach? If that question offends you, then why did you rush to the narrative that whites arrested Ahmed because of racism?)

Why did Ahmed keep showing the “clock” to teachers? Was he perhaps trolling for an overreaction?

Ahmed was arrested by a black police officer. (Does this mean black police officers should not be hired? Again, if you want to make this story about simple narratives, then that’s a fair question.)

Who is the racist in this picture?

Ahmed immediately went to his lawyer’s office. His sisters posted this selfie on Twitter.

Does this look like the face of an innocent kid who was traumatized by racist police officers?

Ahmed and his father look awfully happy for “victims” of discrimination.

It’s almost as if they had a plan, and that this plan worked.

There is more to this story than the media is showing, isn’t there?

Meet Mohamed Elhassan Mohamed (Ahmed’s father), a multi-millionaire, social justice warrior, and potential tax fraud.

Ahmed is a lovable kid who was victimized. Or was he? His father, Mohamed Elhassan Mohamed, has a lengthy history as a troll and publicity hound. But that’s too negative. He is also a sophisticated and intelligent man.

Mohamed Elhassan Mohamed is a self-made multi-millionaire. He started from the bottom and worked his way up to the top, ultimately selling his taxi cab company for millions of dollars. His success will somehow be used to show how unwelcoming America is to Muslim immigrants.

Yet that’s not all Mohamed Elhassan Mohamed has done. Mr. Elhassan Mohamed is a political activist who also trolls for attention. He has made two unsuccessful runs for the president of the Sudan.

In a Feb. 2015 interview (Irving resident makes his second bid for election as President of Sudan), Mohamed Elhassan Mohamed claimed to be serving as president of the AlSufi Center in Irving Texas.

According to the non-partisan watchdog group GuideStar, the AlSufi Center was shut down for tax issues. (See, Nonprofit Profile for AlSufi Center.)

Why did this organization not file its tax paperwork? Did it have something to hide?

The story is a bit more complicated, isn’t it?

As we know from the Rolling Stone rape hoax, the Duke Lacrosse scandal, and countless other examples: Hate crime hoaxes are common. They are also lucrative, brining fame and money to the “victims.”

This potential hoax is different, as an element of truth.

Yes, Ahmed was arrested.

The question is whether he brought in a suspicious looking device and showed it to every teacher in order to elicit a hysterical reaction.

After all, school officers have suspended students from school or had them arrested for making a pop tart into the shape of a gun, wearing an NRA t-shirt, and bringing in a maple leaf that looked like marijuana.

Schools have become kid prisons.

Was Ahmed, if he’s a victim at all, a victim of racism, Islamophobia, or of school’s anti-male zero-tolerance disciplinary policies?

Ahmed was not arrested for bringing in a time bomb.

Ahmed was not arrested because his teacher thought he had a bomb. He was arrested for violating a Texas law making it illegal to bring a “hoax bomb” into school.

Trial lawyer Mark Bennett explains why this law is unconstitutional.

Yes, it’s a bad law. It was a bad arrest.

But the arrest appears to have been orchestrated by Ahmed’s family who understood the law and knew how to troll for a reaction.

Ahmed’s story might be true.

In a big enough world, improbable events occur. Yes, it could be that the son of a multi-millionaire presidential candidate and attention whore happened to be wearing a NASA shirt on the same day he was arrested for showing his suitcase clock to several teachers, and that the arrest made him so sad that his family started taking joyful selfies.

Or it could be a public relations coup by an attention-hungry father.

Even if Ahmed’s story is true, how serious a problem is Islamophobia? Ahmed’s dad, after all, is a multi-millionaire. Those “racists” didn’t stop him from building a hugely successful business that he’d have never been able to build in a Muslim-run country.

And if Ahmed’s story is true and is proof of racism, why aren’t there more like it?

Either Ahmed’s story is a hoax or it’s a highly improbable event.

Whether Ahmed’s story is true or really one of those great random stories, the media lies.

Most of you had no idea that the “clock” looked nothing like a clock, or that the “clock” was showed to several teachers until a hysterical reaction was received, and that Ahmed’s dad is a savvy public relations hound who was president of an organization that didn’t file it tax forms and may have not paid taxes it owed.

I don’t know what the truth is, and welcome civil dissent. I’ll be updating this story as it develops.

UPDATE: Mark Cuban appeared on Real Time with Bill Maher to discuss the story. Cuban confirmed two facts:

• Ahmed was a puppet (his sister was feeding him answers).
• Ahmed showed the “clock” to every teacher until he finally got the desired response.

This was a troll job/hoax.
