Thousands of people have been evacuated as homes and businesses across France are under threat from dramatic flooding brought on by heavy rains. Follow France 24's live blog for all the latest on the flood.
- Heavy rains have caused severe flooding in parts of France, but also Belgium and Germany, with reports of at least four people dead.
- French Prime Minister Manuel Valls visited the town of Nemours, 80 kilometres south of Paris, where residents had to be evacuated after the Loing river burst its banks.
