The greatest success of the Left was to convince white women that they were oppressed victims as a group. The Left needed numbers: blacks did not comprise a large enough group to foment the kind of revolution the Left wanted. Even Chicanos, and gays, trans, and (often unwilling) Asians are not enough together in numbers. The movement needed whites, and white women filled a very large void. It allowed a movement that, at its inception, was no more than 15% of the population, and made it over half the population, at least theoretically. The involvement of white women also gave a certain moral cachet to the attack on white males. It’s easier to attack someone if their own family or social group is also attacking him.
It is fair to say that this attack on white men, ongoing since the 60s, could have not happened without the involvement of (or at least the tacit approval of) white women, be they full-blown feminists or just fellow-travelers. White women were essential to the bringing down of white men and Western culture. Had white women seen the continuing attacks on their men as an attack on themselves, their families, and their way of life, black grievance mongers and those who followed on their heels–Hispanics, homo/transsexuals, Muslims–would never have been able to go so far into such a virulent anti-white (Christian) racism.
For a long time, white women were under the mistaken impression that such anti-white racist attitudes didn’t apply to them because they too were “victims.” It is only recently that many white women are beginning to see that they are no longer protected under the victimhood mantle. The takeover of the feminist narrative by black women–so called intersectionality–and the odd claims of female status by mentally ill males–so-called transgenderism–are destroying the safe facade of feminism for white women. When a “women’s march” for this very week can result in black women openly complaining about white women activists and challenging their victim status, it’s clear that the white women are losing control of the narrative and of the movement. Whatever it was that you though you were fighting for, your movement is being taken from you. Even the Wiccans know that, with Priestess Ruth Barrettediting a book of articles (that universities won’t print) about transsexuals destroying safe places for women, like public bathrooms.
In the end, white women have gotten precious little for their allegiance to feminism, other than to become the wage slaves their husbands (or ex-husbands) were, and to have to cede more and more of their children’s development to invasive and bureaucratic state and private entities. True, they get to have more sex, more STDs, and legal abortions. In fact, these days, one could argue that all of the above are becoming more or less obligatory with the sexual revolution leaving little to no room for a woman to say “no” to sex, even sex she doesn’t want. A woman used to be able to refuse a man, knowing that she’ll have society’s backup. She now has none: that moral ship has sailed. That’s why unwanted or unenthusiastic sex is now becoming a legal problem, a “rape culture” narrative complete with fake statistics but with very real feelings behind it.
Meanwhile, males are drifting without their traditional role of husband/head of family; divorce is rampant, childbirth and rearing without marriage is rampant, and women are utterly exhausted trying to maintain a crumbling family structure for children who are being more and more sucked into popular culture and the indoctrination at their schools that “cores the commoner” and lowers intelligence levels every year.
And now, the feminism on which white women hung their life perspectives and their futures is being wrested from them by black militants (to whom everything is race) and by men in dresses who want to be in restrooms with their female children. But where it there to go? You’ve spent 50 years demonizing white men, pounding them into the ground, voting for politicians who took their jobs away or who insulted them as “bitter clingers.” You’re left with young men who are slowly being told that masculinity is toxic, being white is toxic, and biting a Pop Tart into a gun shape is toxic.
There’s nowhere to go. You’re white in a non-white leftist power construct and abortion will be cold comfort when a transsexual demands the job you should have gotten because he is both “female” and more oppressed than you are.
