1. Connect the microphone and speaker
But the Playstation Eye webcam online, and plug it into one of the Candle controller's USB ports. Tape over the camera, which we won't be using.
Plug in any normal speaker into the Candle Controller's headphone jack.
2. Install the Voco add-on
Get an authorization token
Go to settings > developer > create local authorization
To allow the Voco addon to toggle your devices you will need to create a security code. Copy the token, which is a long line of random letters.
Enter the authorization code in the Voco add-on's settting page
Go to settings > add-ons
Install the Voco addon, wait a minute to let it install, then open its configuration page.
Copy the authorization code into the Authorizaton token field. While you're here, change the time zone to the correct one. Then hit save.
Try it! Say "Hey Snips", followed by:
Remind me to go to the gym in 1 hour
Passionate team members
Turn on the kitchen light for 5 minutes
Set the station of the radio to Fip
Set a countdown for 30 seconds
Set the volume level of Snips to 95
