Recent study shows that the virus can be infectious on surfaces from 5-28 Days. Also, in enclosed environments like this, it’s well documented that mutation of viruses is faster than usual, especially on cruise ships. It may have already mutated.

I think they'll need to evacuate the ship and quarantine passengers and the crew. The crew will undoubtedly be the first to get sick. Bigger question is was this first infected person a super spreader. Other question is does cruise ship industry shut down.
