Mr Jones praised Sky News host Chris Kenny for a recent piece he had written in The Australian, in which Mr Kenny said, "with little research and even less fact checking, the narrative about the fires being unprecedented took off and was amplified." “Climate change was mentioned across the media almost 900,000 times," said Mr Jones and led to a “dishonest portrayal of what is happening". “There is one reason, above all others, for this fire catastrophe.
