Curbside retail and outdoor businesses are back in operation.

The phases for reopening are:

Activities marked with an asterisks (*) require the State to be in advanced Phase 2 or Phase 3 by the time San Francisco roll out is planned.

When you leave your house, you must stay 6 feet apart and wear a face covering.

All allowed activities are subject to safety protocols and other measures.

All dates are tentative. Progression to next phase depends on local public health indicators and state guidance. Additional local health or capacity restrictions may apply.

The timing for Phase 4 will depend on our experience in Phases 1 to 3. We will rely on our health experts and health indicators to determine when to safely enter Phase 4. Phase 4 will be the full reopening of our economy and the removal of all social distancing limits and other restrictions related to the COVID-19 response.
