Search for a Domain

To search for a domain - go to UnstoppableDomains.com and type a name into the search bar on the homepage. You can type in English characters or numbers for now, with no spaces. More types of domains will be registrable in the future. See below for the different types of domains you will encouter while browsing the site.

  1. Available

    You will see the price and be able to check out. The base price is a one-time payment of $40 for a .crypto domain and $20 for a .zil domain, with no renewal fees.

  2. Taken

    This domain has already been registered. You can see if the domain has cryptocurrency addresses attached, whether a website has been set up, and whether the owner is listing it for sale.

  3. Premium

    This domain will be available later so it’s worth adding to your Watchlist. Premium domains are more desirable and more expensive. They start at $80. Premium domains shorter than 5 characters as well the top domains have not been released yet. Read more here.

  4. Protected

    You can Watchlist these domains as some might become available at a later date.

Buy

To search for a domain - go to UnstoppableDomains.com and type a name into the search bar on the homepage. You can type in English characters or numbers for now, with no spaces. More types of domains will be registrable in the future. Below are the current types of domains.

  1. Add domains to your cart

  2. Select Checkout

  3. If you are not buying with Store/Promo Credit choose between Pay by Card , Pay by PayPal , or Pay by Crypto page tabs as your payment method.

Connect an Ethereum wallet to manage .crypto domains:

  1. Go to Account Settings

  2. Select Add Wallet

  3. Select .crypto

  4. Choose which method you want to use to connect your wallet

    a. .crypto

    • Web3 allows you to connect wallets such as Metamask

    • WalletConnect allows you to connect a variety of mobile wallets


  5. Sign the transaction from your wallet.

  6. Your wallet has been added to your account.

Mint

Domains are assets on the blockchain. They are self custody, you store them yourself with a private key, just like a cryptocurrency

Minting is the process of pushing your domain on to the blockchain. This process takes 5 to 10 minutes depending on network congestion. Once complete, you have full custody over the domain.

You will be asked to verify your email address when connecting a wallet and minting your domains.

Minting .crypto domains

  1. Click on the Menu Icon

  2. Go to My Domains

  3. Select one or more domains that you want to mint.

  4. Click on the MINT .CRYPTO button.

  5. Click on the SEND CODE BY EMAIL button. An email with a confirmation code will be sent to you.

  6. Enter the confirmation code and the domain will be minted to the Ethereum blockchain.

Add Crypto Addresses

Set Up Your Domains to Receive Payments

To set up your domain to receive money - log into Unstoppable Domains, go to My Domains, select the domain you would like to Manage, enter and save your cryptocurrency addresses.

  1. Select My Domains

  2. Select Manage next to your domain.

  3. Add your cryptocurrency addresses in the correct field.

Send Money

Now that you have set up your domain - time to receive money

  1. Open a supporting wallet

  2. Type in your domain

  3. Send. It’s that easy!

Transfer

You can transfer an NFT domain within seconds, permissionessly, anywhere in the world for a few cents. This is a major improvement over the traditional domain system that has up to 30 day waiting periods and high fees.

  1. Go to My Domains

  2. Select Manage next to your domain.

  3. Select the Transfer tab

  4. Enter the address you want to transfer the domain to

  5. Sign the transaction with your web3 wallet

Build Website

Launch Website

There are three ways to deploy a website with your domain:

  1. Build a website yourself and attach your IPFS hash to your domain.

    Steps:

    • Select My Domains

    • Select Manage next to the domain you want to use.

    • Add your IPFS hash in the “IPFS” field.

  2. Select a template from our marketplace, customize, and deploy to IPFS with one click.

    Steps:

    • Select Manage next to the domain you want to use.

    • Select the Website tab

    • Select the Choose A Template

    • Customize your template

  3. Upload your own website files to our IPFS Uploader

    Steps:

    • Go to My Domains

    • Select Manage next to the domain you want to use.

    • Select the Website tab

    • Upload your files to the IPFS Uploader

    • Save Changes

View Website

To view .crypto and .zil websites - download the Unstoppable Blockchain Browser or the Unstoppable Chrome Extension. Once installed, your .crypto and .zil domains will resolve in your browser like a .com domain. Your .crypto domain websites can also be viewed in Opera for Android.
