- Vistra battery fire BOTG
- So keep this somewhat anonymous if you would. But I was at vistra when ML300 was built. That's the battery station that burned down in California. The original control system was fluence and that was such a miserable failure that they replaced it with ovation. The risk of fire was always known at this facility. In fact it was a high-risk register item for corporate. The problem is that the batteries were put into an old turban building from a previous power plant that was at the site. This was considered a good thing because no new building was needed to be built. However, during the fire this became a hindrance because the batteries were very close together and limited fire suppression. This is a pretty big blow to the California battery push. The chemistry of these batteries is extremely dangerous if they ignite. Think of all the EV fires you've seen and multiply that by a thousand. From a corporate standpoint, batteries were a big play for vistra and their push for NetZero. We'll see if this changes things. My former boss who still works for the company called me about the fire right when it happened as I and others had raised some of these risks. Another big problem with the battery sites is the digital inverters at utility scale are not holding up. Let me know if you have any questions or anything else I can tell you.

- Salty Crayon Flag BOTG
- Recently my boss has been taking photos of my No Agenda flag I have hung on my wall in my office that people very rarely walk in. Keep in mind this is a federal building on one of the largest military installations in Texas. Last week he said I need to take it down because he believes No Agenda is political. I asked him "where does it say that?". He said he looked it up online. I said, no its not. I have their mission statement printed off right next to the flag and it clearly defines what the show is about.
- Keep in mind this guy is a retired LTC in the Army. So from the people that have worked here longer than me, he tends to have never let that part of his career go. We are all government civilians here or contractors. I've had numerous co-workers in my office and no one has ever asked me about it or said anything. In fact, I've punched a few people in the mouth about No Agenda and they all listen now.
- With a little bit a research I did find some Memorandums about flags in buildings and everything seems to be on my side as far as this NA flag. Also given the new Executive Orders that was released protecting free speech from the weaponization of the federal government.
- So who else better to ask than the Founders of No Agenda. Is the flag or the show political?
