- My name is Peter, and I am a 22 year
- old college student at Purdue University about to finish my degree in
- mechanical engineering. After listening to the latest No Agenda episode
- and your claim that most Gen Z-ers are "soy boys," I felt inclined to
- give my perspective. I have been extremely blessed to attend a highly
- ranked engineering university like Purdue, and I have had internships
- for two Fortune 500 companies. All of these experiences have introduced
- me to my peers from across the world. In my opinion these soy boys you
- refer to are part of a small, but vocal minority. In fact, even some of
- my more left leaning friends have been starting to come around to more
- conservative views over the last year or so, especially since the murder
- of Charlie Kirk. I do not think it is coincidence, either, that I have
- been getting more questions about my faith as a Catholic. After all,
- Charlie was a huge influence for young men like me, and he consistently
- presented Christianity, and a strong family as the best and only way
- forward for a nation in repair like ours.
- There is much more that I would like to say, but I will conclude with this:
- GenZ is changing. As my generation moves towards the truth, it is the
- responsibility of young Catholic men like me to do everything we can to
- continue the example that people like Charlie set in their words, but
- more importantly, in their lives.

- Shutdown
- BOTG air traffic controller sick calls
- 2018 shutdown ended when New York controllers put down
- delays and mile in trail that cause Congress unable to leave DC. This
- would be the key to it, however the House was already sent home and is
- not planning to meet until after the shutdown ends according to the
- house leader Johnson. Unfortunately, not looking good for us as air
- traffic controllers. There’s reports that when the shutdown started,
- union president for NATCA was at a forum in Chicago (link report
- attached) speaking about AI technology being a benefit for the
- workforce, so you can tell where the unions priorities are…. What a slap
- in the face to the dummies foolish enough to give this union dues money.
- Duffy saying controllers are picking up uber shifts between shifts? Ha! Good luck,
- I’d love to see or hear from a controller after working a 10 hour shift
- have the mental stamina to go work uber after/between shifts, give me a
- break. It does show however or at least seem that Duffy and the Trump
- administration is pro controller if only the union had the back bone to
- come to the table to negotiate pay raises instead of worrying about AI
- integration into the NAS.
- In our facility we’ve seen staffing numbers go to half of what’s required
- to work the airspace (the heavily lib-tarded areas of my facility). A
- message for NA gitmo nation, start driving, it’ll only get worse.
- Reports out of California Burbank tower that there was no controllers in
- the tower for “hours” this isn’t unheard of, tower airspace delegated
- to the tower by the en route facilities. En route owns it, towers just
- borrow it, so if a tower goes ATC-zero the en route facility works the
- tower airspace pretty much like normal, it just becomes an uncontrolled
- airport “one in one out” rules applied, or ‘ATC limited’-tower only if
- there’s not enough staffing to work approach control and tower control.
