  • Documenting our tics and superpowers
  •
  • Over the years my public conversations about my tourettes syndrome have introduced me to many other people with this exciting, surprising and certainly never boring condition. I have found that most people find me more interesting because of my various tics and associated 'super powers'.
  • I have decided to document my own conditiona dn those who share that with me, typically they are contributors to the No Agenda Podcast

  • Mine (Adam Curry)
    • Tics
      • [current] Twitching of neck, shoulders, thigh muscles, mild grunting, tightly squeezing eyelids closed
    • Super Powers
      • Lightening fast response to fallig items. Snatching tipped glasses mid air
      • Photographic memory for Numbers, Addresses, timecodes
  • Micromho
    • Tics
      • Stuttering, various other OCD behaviors. I'm pretty sure Tourette's is just a part of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.
    • Super Powers
      • In school, I was class champion in Dodgeball. Pretty much sucked at every other sport, though. As far as cognitive abilities, I have fairly good aptitude in math and science, so I managed to get a degree in nuclear engineering without too much trouble.
  • Cameron - Austin
    • Tics
      • restless eyeballl / hard quick blink disorder
    • Super Powers
      • i channel the funk. otherwise i too have those quick reflexes which when transferred into a 3D shooter environment makes you a badass btw. my ability to remember #'s has sadly subsided. probably thru brain cell reduction therapy. i'll check out sight asap.

    • Tics
      • electric energy and straining various body parts. Twisting one foot is a favorite, while walking. You act like something's wrong with your foot and twist it super hard
    • Super Powers
      • 1) Photographic memory, memory of dance routines exactly as taught. I go back to beginning and say, "let me ask the robot." All Virgos have a built-in, inner robot. Robot power. That's why routine helps them.
      • 2) Tape recorder in your ear, easy replay of melody (and rhythm!), easy learning where to put fingers on a violin or any fretless, helping muscle memory.
